The Corniche has been Rolls’ signature convertible ever since the 1970s, and they encompass all the over-engineering, fine leather, beautiful wood veneers and general opulence recognized the world over for decades. This exciting specimen was sold new in San Francisco and shipped to the first owner here in Denver. It then became the centerpiece in a local gentleman’s extensive auto collection and has only been driven 2,800 miles! Kept in a climate-controlled garage, it has maintained its magnificence and was recently fully serviced by the local dealership.
All fluids were changed, the gas springs upgraded and a hydraulic flush for the brakes and suspension finished things off. The car is still on its original tires, has all the owner’s books, the factory cognac flask in a locked cubby, plus the original buyer’s order from 1989 and subsequent service records. The car looks brand new under the hood and all the leather, carpets, wood trim, convertible top and sheepskin overlay mats are immaculate. Finished in one of the most popular colors of Deep Metallic Blue over Parchment with deep blue piping & top. There isn’t now, and never will be another Corniche II with such low mileage.
