Vehicle Description
When you try to define this custom build based on a 1976
International Scout, you'll see everything from a stroker V8 with a
blower on top to serious 4x4 components. So is it a dune buggy? Hot
rod? Whatever you want to call it, you already know it's
awesome.
This is a full custom machine that's out to get noticed. After all,
why do you think they painted it such a bold yellow? But this build
also has function within the flare. That's why the diamond plating
on the front, back fenders, and rear not only looks good, but also
adds to the robustness of this ride. And that custom tubular front
end is not only a fine push bar, but also the mounting point for
the headlights and triple set of spotlights. The soft top is part
of this custom build with a cool yellow stripe running the full
length. And while you're checking that out, you'll also spot more
lights so you can see the trail ahead, as well as a full air horn
setup so they can really hear you coming. There are tow hooks
bolted to the frame up front and a proper trailer hitch with plug
in the rear so you're ready for the wilderness. And because a true
go-anywhere machine means also using it on the streets, this one is
road legal in most (if not all) areas, right down to the
well-placed turn signals.
This is a build meant to be shared with the world, and so the
interior continues the exterior's theme of bold yellow and plenty
of bright diamond plating reinforcement. The full interior is meant
to be durable, right down to the vinyl on the seats. But that also
doesn't mean missing out on comfort, thanks to high-back buckets up
front. There's even cup holders, grab handles, and a CB radio. And
because this is built to really be driven, you get nice driver
upgrades, like the grippy sports steering wheel and a full
AutoMeter gauges package, including large tach.
The air grabber peeking out of the hood already tells you you're
going to love the power. And the investment in the full polished
presentation on this one means you'll probably want to run without
the hood any time it's ready to show off. More than just style,
this motor has substance. It's a 383 cubic-inch stroker V8, and if
that wasn't already enough muscle, there's also a Weiand 144 blower
on top. This is a professional build by Triple R Performance.
There's only about 3,000 miles on the engine and less than 6,500
miles on the whole build - so now you know why it looks so good!
Plus, it has extra go-fast goodies, like a Holley 700 CFM
four-barrel carburetor and Hedman shorty headers feeding the
rumbling dual exhaust. And as you keep digging, you'll spot the
right supporting component, like serpentine belts, MSD ignition,
and an aluminum radiator. Front disc brakes and a three-speed
automatic transmission with a shift kit mean nice performance on
the road. But features like the two-speed 4x4 transfer case and
Mickey Thompson Baja tires let you know the fun doesn't stop when
the pavement ends.
Complete with build receipts, this is one-of-a-kind and absolutely
cool. So don't miss what could be your only chance at this full
