This 1976 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am is one of 533 special-edition Trans Ams with the black and gold paint scheme. It has the first-year Hurst hatch T-Tops and black deluxe interior. The engine was originally a 400ci with an automatic transmission, but the drivetrain has been replaced with a period-correct Pontiac 455ci engine producing over 400hp, which is now backed by a Super T10 4-speed manual transmission. It features a 12-bolt posi-traction rear end, original 1976 Goodyear tires, correct accent pieces, gold poly-cast honeycomb wheels, gold-spoke steering wheel, gold pinstriping, gold hood bird, gold engine-turned dash panel and appropriate 50th Anniversary medallions on each fender.
