Vehicle Description
This 1977 Mercury Cougar has been stored in a garage since 1998.
This car represents a matching-numbers, original survivor car. It
has been made road-ready with new tires, complete tuneup, new fuel
pump and accelerator pump, coolant flush with new hoses,
transmission service and a new RI state inspection sticker. This
car runs and drives nicely powered by its 302ci 8-cylinder engine
backed by an automatic transmission, and has 71,000 original miles
(mileage not indicated on registration). The car has the original
engine and transmission, and the body wears its original paint,
with the exception of the left rear quarter, which was damaged
while the car was backed out of the garage many years ago. The
vinyl roof is also original. The interior is completely original.
The undercarriage is clean and rust-free. The chassis, doors and
rear quarters have never been patched or worked on, and are solid.
This Cougar includes a Marti Report and a copy of the original
Window Sticker.
