Through family Pontiac dealership connections, Daniel Mecham of
Mecham Racing secured a program of delivery of factory 1982 and
1983 Trans Ams to their Arizona Facility, where significant
performance and appearance upgrades were installed. These limited
production models were then marketed successfully across the
country.
