This 1970 Spitfire runs, drives and looks good overall. The interior is nice and clean with good door cards, dash, seats (no rips, tears or cracks) plus new carpet, sunvisors, and a new convertible top. This car has been garaged kept and has a clean, solid body and undercarriage with no rust. This Spitfire has a replacement stainless steel exhaust system that sounds nice. She comes with 4 new tires and the original "roulette" wheel covers. This triumph has been repainted many years ago, but is otherwise a mostly original car. The paint looks pretty good, but has a few spots that need some sanding and/or buffing. This car comes with the original tool kit, jack, spare, and owner's manual. The engine runs well, but will not stay running without keeping the choke engaged. The car does squat in the rear a little, but rides fine. This Spitfire can be driven and enjoyed as it is, but does need some work to be 100% right. The left front brake caliper drags a little, the steering column bearing grinds some, and the heat controls are stiff. This Spitfire still runs and drives pretty good in spite of the mechanical issues.
