Vehicle Description
Welcome to StreetDreamsTexas as we celebrate our 20th year in the
classic and muscle car business. Here's yet another tasty morsel
for all of you Mopar lovers out there. Check out this thumping 1965
Dodge Coronet. The thumping doesn't come from an obnoxious
subwoofer, but rather a 1971 440 V8 sporting an Edelbrock aluminum
intake manifold and a pair of Edelbrock 4 bbl carburetors. Although
the original 361 B block was swapped in favor of the more potent
440, this bruiser features correct Bright Red (P) paint, correct
red cloth and vinyl upholstery (R=1, M=R), and the correct and
highly desirable A833 4-speed manual transmission. Additional
goodies include a heavy duty front stabilizer bar, coilover shocks
in back, Hurst shifter, auxiliary gauges, and nice B. F. Goodrich
Radial T/A's (215/70R15 F, 235/60R15 R) wrapped around classic
'steelies' with dog dish hubcaps. The maintenance record in the
glove box, the fit of the correct headliner, and the condition of
the upholstery support the possibility that the 44,881 miles on the
odometer are actual. What is absolutely certain, though, is that no
car built today can match the sound of a dual quad 440 at full
song. Caution: Heavy applications of the throttle may be habit
forming! Street Dreams (830-997-1950) is a full service dealership
that can assist with worldwide delivery, insurance, and financing
options.
