The cool, classic style of a T series MG never fails to turn heads.
However, if that famous "square rigger" look appeals to you but you
want something that can hold its own in modern traffic, then the
last of the T series cars, the TF 1500 may be the only choice. Yes,
it is best on a winding two lane road but its larger capacity 1500
engine has that extra oomph to get you out of town and traffic to
where the TF is truly in its element. This lovely example came to
us as part of a larger collection from a long term owner. It is
finished in a very attractive pale primrose with red leather
seating and tan canvas top. It is complete with side curtain
weather gear and equipped with a heater for those brisk fall days.
Regarding that collection, it includes three TCs, a 1934 PA, 1960
MGA 1600, and 1967 MGB overdrive car. Be sure to watch our site as
we roll out the others, all very nice cars. Our example was
restored some time back but remains in very nice condition with
great paint and no rust issues in the metal or wood rot in its ash
body frame. A recent recommissioning has included all new brake
hydraulics including master and wheel cylinders, hoses, and brake
shoes. The engine runs very well with excellent oil pressure, no
smoke, and normal temperature even on warm days. The gearbox is
very smooth without any undue noise and great synchromesh. MG only
built 3400 of the TF 1500 variant so these are the rarest of the
post war MG T cars and truly nice ones are becoming hard to find.
The low production numbers will also likely assure these cars will
hold their value, if not appreciate, as the years pass. We invite
you to see this car first hand and inspect and drive it. To arrange
