Beautiful 1972 El Camino with a show quality paint and chrome/trim. New GM crate 350 ci engine, Turbo 400 automatic transmission, PS, PB, COLD A/C. Lots of new parts including master cylinder & booster, alternator, 600 cfm Edelbrock Carb with alum intake, Pertronix distributor & coil, harmonic balancer and flexplate, fuel pump.
This car is about as rust free as they come. The black paint is like glass, the interior is nice with a cloth bench seat. All gauges work. This classic drives perfect. Engine is smooth, tranny shifts like it should, it drives straight down the road with no vibrations etc, the air conditioning blows cold, doors open and close like they should and the glass is good. There are no leaks underneath. This car/truck is a great driver that you can take to car shows and cruise ins and be proud it's yours! It is a real head turner.
I bought this car from a good friend of mine who traded it for a Harley with a guy in California. He was told by the previous owner, the El Camino had been in CA all of its life and the mileage is accurate. I believe that to be true because the original engine was still in this car when I got it and it still had all the emissions equipment on it including the smog pump! I replaced that engine because it was at the end of its life. If the buyer wants it, I will include it in the sale.
