For Sale: 1979 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 in Port Angeles, Washington

Vehicle Description

ORIGINAL OWNER - my dad placed my order and had it covered with blankets in the homestead garage when I returned in February 1979 from my 6-month Navy deployment. Immaculately restored $5k Carmine metallic paint job with PAINTED two-tone Z28 striping completed in Lemoore, CA in 1994. These colors are the EXACT REPLICA of the original paint job and what were then decals from the factory. Entire body was then clear-coated, therefore, there is no edge that can be felt on the doors and hood striping. Original GOLD INLAY TURBINE WHEELS with new hubs. Interior only needs head liner and driver's seat upholstery; new visors from Classic Industries are ready to be installed in the trunk. New GM Target 5.7L 350 V8 engine with 327 H.P. cam installed in Lemoore, CA in 1992. 4 BBL carb. Front coils and bushings; rear springs and bushings replaced in 1993 at Hellwig Suspension in Visalia, CA. FLOWMASTER DUAL MUFFLERS AND EXHAUST installed in 2010. All accessories listed on window sticker (photo). Car has been in storage, covered, since 2002; taken out only on dry days to keep it running and for car shows. Don't be dissuaded by the mileage as a big chunk of it is highway miles travelling cross-country between my Navy duty stations. Only 25k on engine and suspension parts. Car has been very well maintained and cared for.

As shown in the photos, this car comes with original window sticker, owner's manual, build sheet and warranty information/brochure.

Walk-around video of vehicle running taken on June 8, 2022 available via e-mail. All photos reflect what the vehicle EXACTLY looks like today since it has been in CLIMATE CONTROLLED STORAGE and covered since 2002. A good investment- car will only increase in value as they are becoming ever more rare and not many of them are being restored; and even fewer remain in original stock configuration, exactly as ordered from the factory by the ORIGINAL OWNER. Thus, SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY. Additionally, due to its sentimental value and originality, I PREFER to sell only to buyer who will ensure it remains a show-ready car in present stock configuration. Selling it because I have no children to pass it on to and am 68 and no longer have interest in showing it - not to mention it's costing me $169/mo to store it.
