1965 ROLLS-ROYCE SILVER CLOUD III STANDARD SEDAN

This astonishing well preserved example of this deservedly popular
classic came to us from the estate of the original owner, an
affluent Southern California connoisseur as indicated by its
remarkably complete history file. We supplied it to its subsequent
owners in 2004 at 18,475 miles and today the odometer reading is
just 20,870 miles.
Finished in Sand Iridescent with Beige Connolly hides, aside from a
concours quality refinish to the faded but never damaged exterior
its cosmetics have never been restored.
The interior hides, carpets, headliner and woods are all
beautifully preserved and patinaed and should be carefully
preserved. The original optional lambswool carpets, AM-FM-SW
Blaupunkt radio and air-conditioning as shown on the included
factory record are all in fine condition.
Before delivery to its second owner, the braking system was
overhauled, the springs rebuilt and replaced as necessary to
restore the correct standing height and shock absorbers travel and
new spring gaiters were fitted. The original tires still held air
but were deemed unsafe for use and were replaced with correct 820 x
15 whitewalls. The original spark plugs were changed, the
carburetor diaphragms were replaced and the valley cover gasket was
resealed. The automobile was superbly maintained while in their
hands and we were delighted to be presented with the opportunity to
reacquire it.
The mechanical aspects of the automobile have been thoroughly
prepared in our workshops and the performance is virtually as it
was when new. The documentation history is impressive and will
become the property of the next keeper.
We believe this to be by far finest original Silver Cloud III
available anywhere in the world regardless of price.
