The following year, Chevrolet would earn Motor Trend's Car of the year award. New for the 1977 was a special back window that would be seen in B body cars way into the late 80's. With the "aerocoupe" style double bent tempered rear glass only being produced between 1977-1979, this becomes a pretty rare car. You would have a few engine choices coming off the showroom floor, but none of those would really suffice now days would it? That's why this Impala comes equipped with a stout 383 stroker to help push this thing through traffic. You'll notice right away that this is not an ordinary Impala.
