We are pleased to present this very unique 1987 Pontiac Firebird
Custom Convertible. This car came from the factory with a V6
engine, a coupe body style and white paint. It was delivered to
Hall Pontiac in Virginia. Back in 1987, the factory did not produce
Firebird convertibles. The dealer transformed this car into a
convertible and the car was given away as a prize to the winner of
a golf tournament as part of a dealership promotion around 1991. In
2009, the third owner decided to completely rebuild this car from
parts from a 1988 Firebird Formula which included the 5.7L fuel
injected engine, WS6 performance package, rear end, four wheel disc
brakes and 5 speed manual transmission. All underside components
were replaced with springs, ball joints and exhaust. The interior
came from a 2002 Trans Am with the custom addition of the emblems
on the seat backs. The dash is from a 1988 Trans Am. The carpet is
new and the door panels are also new. The odometer is accurate, but
engine has only about 30k mi and the car has about 10,000 miles
since the build. The body is painted in Martinique Bronze from the
60's GTO pallet and the black top is hand made. Custom grills and
the 17 inch Torque Thrust Wheels complete the exterior. The
underbody is super clean and the body and frame are both in great
condition. This rare bird is ready for summer cruising and car
shows. This vehicle qualifies for an optional 90 day ASC drivetrain
warranty. We can arrange shipping to your location. If you have any
questions, please call or text Savannah Classic Cars at
