1987 CHEVROLET 4X4 PICKUP
A few weeks ago, we had one of the most INCREDIBLE Hot Rods we have ever owned ... or listed ... a 1936 Dodge Pickup Diesel Rat Rod that was a complete "Work-Of-Art" build. Well ... a gentleman from Missouri contacted me and wanted to purchase it. He explained to me that he owned a equally beautiful 1987 Chevy "Square Body" 4X4that he would like to offer as a trade. If you have follow our listings, you have probably noted that we "Love" Square Body short wheel base Chevy trucks ... and ... the opportunity to get a completely Built & Lifted '87 Factory 4X4 was just to good to pass up.
He further related that during the restoration process, it had been upgraded ... to ... 3/4 Ton axles, 24X14 Hostile Forged Wheels, 8" lift, Fox Shocks, New Glass, Completely built 355 Engine with Performance Cam and Fitech Fuel Injection, Long Tube Headers, 700r4 Transmission with Over Drive. Cowl Hood, New Sound System, Bed Liner, LED Lighting ... and ... all new chrome.
Well ... we spent a week or so negotiating ... and ... finally made a deal. When it arrived at the FSD Hot Rod Ranch, we were thrilled. This has to be one of the best looking "Chevy Square Bodies" on the planet! My son, Josh and I recently took it to the Travares, Florida Car Show ... and ... it caused quite a reaction. You see ... a " 8" Lifted '87 Square Body"was something almost nobody had ever seen. And ... since we also had a "Lowered '87 Square Body" we were the "Hit of the Show"!
