In 1929 Packard offered the first of their high performance sport luxury cars. Two body styles were offered, a Runabout and a Phaeton. They were introduced to compete with the speedsters from Stutz and Auburn and were available on a special order basis only. This vehicle is 1 of only 70 built. At the time these vehicles were made, they were used in Packard Showrooms to promote the Packard Brand. This vehicle was shown at Pebble Beach and won several awards. This is 1 of just 3 or 4 rumored to have survived. Collector has invested over 200k in the project. Amazing addition to any collection.
