Nice little 1957 Nash Metropolitan for sale. These were built from 1954 through 1962 for Nash by British Motor Company. I bought the car but due to changing circumstances won't be able to finish the restoration. 1500 cc engine runs great, recently serviced. I have a video of the car running, I'll try to figure out how to get it on the site. New brakes and exhaust. 3-speed transmission shifts smoothly. Very little rust - please see pictures.
Downsides - the paint job is aftermarket and a bit rough. There are a few nicks in it. A little bit of rust on the bumpers. The seats are comfortable but have covers, ideally would be re-upholstered. There is no carpet, although the floor has very little rust so this would be easy. Door panels are worn but serviceable.
This car is great fun to drive as-is. It could also be fixed up with not a lot of work to be really in tip-top shape.
