The interior is showing some age, but overall is very presentable and seems to be 100% original. Black eight-way power bench seat is up front, and a spacious bench is in the rear. Seats are covered in leather and vinyl. Black carpeted floor. Original dash and door panels with original woodgrain are present and beautiful (except the wood paneling on the dash needs to be redone), as are all original gauges, knobs and controls.
The body is long and straight featuring signature stacked headlights, classic rear tail fins, fender skirts, original wheel covers and original chrome. Some bubbling is seen where repairs were done on the original body panels at that time. The original interior is fully optioned including: power windows, power locks, power seat, front his and hers ash trays with electric lighters, automatic climate control, factory stereo, power antenna (missing).
Under the hood lies the 472 cubic inch V8 engine producing 375 horsepower and a massive 525 lbs of torque -hooked to its automatic transmission and rear wheel drive. The engine area remains stock and very complete and clean. Spare tire in massive trunk.
For me it's been a perfect summertime (actually, year round in LA) cruiser with plenty of room for up to 6 people total for a night on the town or for the whole family (I've put my 18 month old kid in a car seat the middle back seat several times). I've driven this beast up and down Sunset and Hollywood Blvd a millions times now. Never taken it on the freeway or any long rides since she's so old. I live in the Hollywood Hills and it’s a very steep ride getting to and from my house- this car has never even flinched going up and down the hill. This car gets a lot of attention. People constantly take pictures and roll their windows down to chat me up. It’s perfect for dramatic entrances as it holds huge stage presence whenever seen. It recently was in a music video for a MAJOR A-list musician -video coming out in the next few months.
The car comes complete with boot, owners manual with original sleeve, shop manual and other original literature.
