Why This Vehicle is Special
The 1996 Chevrolet Corvette we have at Skyway Classics is a very
desirable because it has two options, Collector Edition and the
Grand Sport LT4 engine.
The Collector's Edition package commemorated the end of the C4 and
consists of the Silver paint, 5-spoke wheels, special emblem and
seat embroidery.
Mechanical
Our Corvette has that Grand Sport LT4 engine that makes 330
horsepower, 30 more than the regular LT1 and also has the manual
6-speed transmission, the only choice for the LT4.
The LT4 engine when combined with the fully independent performance
suspension, power steering, four-wheel disc brakes, performance
tires on the special painted 5-spoke factory wheels, and a great
dual exhaust system made it one of the killer Corvettes of its
era.
Exterior
The Collector's Edition package commemorated the end of the C4 and
consists of the Silver paint, 5-spoke wheels, special emblem and
seat embroidery. Once could get it in a Coupe or Convertible, with
either black, gray, or Red interior, also, with any choice of
engine, LT4 with manual transmission only, or LT1 with automatic
transmission only.
Sebring Silver is the exclusive color that was only available on
the Collector Edition. It also has Grand Sport alloys and exclusive
Collector Edition badging.
Interior
The light gray leather looks great and compliments the exterior
grey paint. The stylish bucket seats are very comfortable and have
Collector Edition embroidered in the headrests. Our 1996 also has
the leather-wrapped steering wheel, center console, revised C4
digital, power windows, power locks, power mirrors, power driver
seat, electric rear defogger, control cruise, dual airbags, and a
powerful Bose AM/FM/cassette/CD stereo system.
