Ordered with every available option, including the removable hardtop and windscreen. Almost $90,000 when ordered in 2002. Immaculate condition always kept inside a temperature-controlled garage and covered with a custom-made car cover. Never has seen rain, only hand washed and waxed. Always serviced by Mercedes dealer and maintained with an open checkbook. I have books, manuals/etc. Silver Arrow Editions were the only SL's to come with the stunning 777code paint, it is the most beautiful color silver you will ever see, changes tone in different light. Every time you drive around people notice and want to talk about this beauty. The Silver Arrows also received custom forged wheels and two-tone hand-stitched interior. The dash and trim are all covered with hand stitched leathers and dark maple wood grain, not vinyl and plastic like the other SL's. The instrument panel is surrounded by hand-polished metal, the floor mats are even trimmed in silver. The R129 body style SL was by far the best model they ever made, that's why they made them over 14 years. They are starting to rise in value, the Silver Arrows are the best and most rare they made.
