ever built! The car has only 3,951 miles, demanding the attention
of any collector or mustang enthusiast. The Cobra R package was an
additional $23,840 charge. The Cobra R is a car capable of smoking
its tires all the way from rest to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds, hitting a
top speed of 168 mph, pulling over 1g on a skidpan, yet also is
very comfortable inside as well. As you will see inside, these cars
came as radio delete.
The Cobra motor gets its power to the rear wheels via a Tremec 6
speed manual transmission and is powered by its 5.4L DOHC v8
engine. The giant rear wing helps keep the rear end planted with
780 lb of downward push.
The Cobra R here has a ton of documentation with binders full of
information, owner's guides and service guides, a list of all the
Ford dealers that were able to get their hands on one of these
rocket ships, sticker kits, copy of the original title, service
receipts, original window sticker showing it selling out of Sunrise
