1947 Ford pickup truck. Original 239 CID V8 flathead engine and 3
speed transmission. Everything from the gas cap through the intake
manifold has been replaced making this a very well running engine.
The three speeds on the floor transmission was completely gutted
and rebuilt. The ignition has been converted to electronic with a
crab style distributor to retain that stock look. A lookalike power
master alternator has replaced the generator and an electric wiper
system replaces the old vacuum driven wipers. Even the original
houdaille shocks were replaced with rebuilt originals. I have also
had the brake system completely redone and installed turn signals.
All gauges are working. The truck has a new driveline and new dual
exhaust. So much has been done to make this a great driving truck.
I get thumbs up everywhere I go. The body has a farm patina but is
completely solid. The frame is nearly rust free and there are no
holes in the cab. It even has the original floor mat. There is a
two inch binder of reference material and repair copies. Please
