Vehicle Description
This awesome 1974 Ford Bronco custom SUV was recently restored with
many upgrades throughout. As the original VIN plate indicates, this
Bronco was built in December and left the Michigan factory to the
Kansas City DSO. It was a U152 Model with the 4900 GVW HD Package,
302ci 8-cylinder engine, C4 automatic transmission and Light Copper
Metallic paint. This Bronco was the product of an extensive
two-year restoration that was completed in 2016. It only has a few
hundred test miles since completion. Prior to the restoration it
was a very original vehicle, and it retains the original VIN on the
frame. During the restoration most of the sheet metal was replaced
throughout. The body is straight with very good panel fitment. It
was finished in its original color of Light Copper Metallic with a
nostalgic white top. This is a beautiful color that really pops in
the sunlight. The hood rise and front grille were painted
high-gloss black. It also has black LED headlights, black marker
lights and black fender flares. The front windshield is new, and
all the remaining original Carlite glass is in very nice condition.
All of the glass has been tinted and looks great. The front and
rear chrome bumpers are new. It sits on brand-new 17" Mayhem Black
wheels wrapped with BFGoodrich All Terrain T/A tires that are
205-70-17. It's also equipped with a matching spare wheel and tire.
The interior has been completely restored and looks beautiful. The
cabin was wrapped with Dynamat insulation and a rear roll cage was
added. The dash, doors and roll cage were painted to match the
exterior. The door panels and seat upholstery also match the
exterior. The tan dash pad and carpeting adds the perfect balance.
It's equipped with factory gauges, RPM gauge, push-button start,
Billet Specialties 14" Formula black steering wheel, Vintage Air,
bucket seats with seatbelts, rear bench seat, custom sound system
and custom carpeted floor mats. The painted engine compartment is
nicely detailed throughout. The hood is supported with dual hood
shocks. The original 302ci V8 engine was rebuilt with an Edelbrock
top-end kit, including aluminum heads. The engine runs and performs
excellent. Some other upgrades include a Holley Performance
carburetor, red Ford Racing valve covers, chrome air cleaner,
complete MSD ignition system, custom pulleys, Powermaster HP
starter and Optima red top battery. The engine is cooled by a
Champion aluminum radiator with billet overfill canister. The
engine sounds amazing through polished long tube headers and a
Flowmaster dual exhaust system with custom tips. It's equipped with
power steering that allows for easy operation. The engine is
coupled to a C4 automatic transmission that shifts very nicely. The
undercarriage is nicely detailed throughout. The underside was
treated with matching textured paint for durability. The gas tank
was also treated with black textured paint. It's equipped with
power brakes with front discs and rear drum. The suspension has
been lifted a few inches and is equipped with Gabriel VST shocks.
This Bronco is a great-looking vehicle that is very user-friendly.
