Vehicle Description
This custom 1964 Impala Super Sport convertible is powered by a
409ci 8-cylinder engine that's outfitted with dual-quad Edelbrock
500cfm carburetors, COMP cam, Hooker headers, electronic ignition
and a Griffin aluminum radiator with custom-built electric fans.
Backing the engine is a Turbo 350 automatic transmission with a
2,600-rpm stall converter and a Ford 9" rear end built by Currie
Enterprises. Stopping power is provided by 6-piston calipers with
big rotors up front, and 4-piston calipers with 12" rotors in the
rear. This Impala features air ride, Dakota Digital dash, Haartz
cloth top, and custom-made Centerline wheels.
