Vehicle Description
This 1969 Mercury Cougar XR7 convertible is finished in a new
custom Cherry Red paint. The car was stripped of its original Dark
Ivy Green Metallic during the painting process, and all door jambs,
fenders and trunk were completely repainted. It's powered by a
stock 351/290hp Windsor V8 engine with a Holley 4-barrel
carburetor, mated to the fully serviced original FMX 3-speed
automatic transmission. The engine's VIN is stamped on the driver's
side of the block. This Cougar XR7 is equipped with the original 9"
rear axle with 3.00 gears, and a new air conditioning condenser and
receiver-drier, converted to R-134. It features power steering,
brakes and windows, all-new interior and carpet, new convertible
top, LED lighting in the instrument cluster, and rides on Keystone
mag wheels. It runs and drives as it should, and includes a Marti
Report.
