The XLR was the very first production Cadillac with radar-based adaptive cruise control. The XLR was built alongside the Corvette in Bowling Green KY. Both cars shared the all-new hydro formed perimeter frame and composite bodywork construction. The XLR was nominated for North American Car of the Year in 2004.
