Vehicle Description
This attractive little Ford would have surely been a welcome site
if you were broke down along some of the lonely Rt 66 stretches. In
the 30's the predominant car was a Ford A or T or a little Chevy;
which this little truck could handle. One of the cranes of choice
was the Weaver hand crank auto crane - 2 speed crank with crank
handle and emergency red light and 2 moveable chrome work lights on
a folding light bar. A must for a memorabilia collection or a show
stopper displayed in a fine car collection this custom wrecker is
sure to please. Display with top on or off. Weaver works; not
recommended for regular use to haul. Recent restoration and build
by Billy's Big Boys Garage; who builds very limited specialty
trucks. A division of Volo Classic Cars. Original Roadster body
clad in burgundy/black and antique white reveals. Pin stripped and
signage with Smittys Rt 66. Period correct 2 speed hand crank
Weaver boom restored with new cable and proper hooks and handle.
Engine turned and detailed, chrome is good, dual tail lights and
side mount spare with 5 new Firestone whitewalls. Boom lowers and
light bar folds compact to fit in most auto garages. Drivers very
good. Youtube video available upon request. Call our classic car
division at 815-385-8408 for video and/or vehicle information.
