Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1993 Panoz Roadster. This
early roadster is chassis number 13 of 44 produced; it was built
for Dan Panoz and used as a marketing vehicle early in its life. It
has been driven only 659 miles and is in like new condition. It has
been with its current owner (the second owner) for two years,
during which it has spent most of its time on display in the Panoz
headquarters north of Atlanta.
A September 2017 letter from Mr. Panoz is included in which he
certifies that the car is completely original with the exception of
the oil filter and a tail light bezel which they replaced with an
NOS piece. He goes on to further certify the mileage (at that time,
639) and state that this car "may be the lowest mileage and most
original and factory correct first series Panoz in existence at
this time."
The Nordic Blue over light beige color combination is stunning - it
is interesting to note that the body panels on this car are
aluminum and the chassis is of tubular stainless steel
construction. Power is provided by a Ford 5.0 liter V8 with manual
five-speed gearbox - the performance is exhilarating. A true
collector example of an important and iconic vehicle that put Panoz
on the map as a legitimate and capable sports car manufacturer.
Along with a letter of certification from the manufacturer, an
original brochure featuring this very car and a clean CarFax with
no accidents or mileage discrepancies is included.
