Yes, definitely a Volkswagen, type 1 is the Beetle lots of these, type 2 is the bus lots of these too. this is called the type 3 the rarest of all but this particular unit is called the Square back even more special as it is the rarest of the type 3 and I would say the rarest of the all VW line. This particular unit was restored completely 15 years ago and hasn’t been driven much it has the flat fan engine Porsche style which was rebuilt at that time. runs beautiful very dependable. starts great by any weather, it has no rust and still in beautiful shape … it past last year a province mechanical and safety inspection. it has new tires new interior and a power sliding roof power doors and trunk lock and alarm system with remote car start and motion sensor alarm … it had a very expensive stereo that was stolen but wires where left there so it was refitted last year with another expensive stereo with infinity speakers (6 of Them ),amps ,boom box CD and blue tooth at the cost of over 4000 dollars but this time everything has been installed out of eye sight underneath the seats. this car is always the stars at car show due to its rarity. It’s an excellent driver ready to take you anywhere.
