What makes this car special is that in 1942 US auto manufacturers retooled to make war machines. 18,000 of these cars were made, and most of them ended up in Europe painted army green for the war effort. Out of the cars that stayed in the USA few of them had the chrome package. They used chrome for the war, and painted all the trim metal gray. Extremely rare car. I can’t find another one. Belongs in a museum. You can find other years, but not a 42.
