Vehicle Description

1970 Ford Maverick Custom

This outstanding 1970 Ford Maverick Custom is over the top and one of the best Mavericks on the planet. As the VIN indicates this car was built in Kansas City, KS and was an early production car with the ignition in the dash. It was born the rare color combination of white with blue interior. This was a collaborative build between Magic Custom, High-Tech Fabrication, MJM Automotive Solutions and MS CLASSIC CARS. It was first restored by well-known Magic Custom in Brookpark, OH and completed in 2017. Magic Custom has built many high-end builds including a Ridler Great 8 Contender. Magic Custom restored closer to a factory correct restoration with the original 6 cylinder engine and some mild custom features. It was shown in that form and won multiple awards at the 2017 NMCA Muscle Car Nationals. Magic Custom sold the car to MS CLASSIC CARS who envisioned a super car. MS CLASSIC CARS sent the car to High-Tech Fabrication and then to MJM Automotive Solutions to be transformed into what you see today. This is a six figure build with everything that went into it. MS CLASSIC CARS invested almost $50,000.00 which is documented with receipts. This investment is on top of the original cost of car and original restoration completed by Magic Custom. Prior to the rotisserie restoration this was an original rust free California car. It retains all the original sheet metal throughout. The body was stripped to bare metal and Squeeg's high quality epoxy primer was applied. The body is extremely straight and the gaps are excellent throughout. It was treated to a show quality paint job that is Wimbledon White with black racing stripes. The rear stripes flow down the rear deck lid into the satin black tail panel which looks awesome. The car is also dressed with a black Grabber side stripe. All of the glass is slightly tinted and in beautiful condition. The rear quarter windows vent open which is a cool feature. Everything on the exterior was restored or replaced such as the window trim, wipers, antenna, mirrors, grill, door handles, bumpers, lights, etc. It's equipped with Oracle Lighting 7” LED headlights. It has a great stance on 17” US Mags wheels with Raptor Riken tires that are 215-50-17 on the front and 255-50-17 on the rear. The tires were treated to tires stickers with white letters and blue Maverick logos that look killer. The blue Maverick logos match the blue interior that was restored to better then the factory did. This interior was custom made as there are no reproduction Ford Maverick interiors available. Everything in the interior was restored or replaced such as the headliner, dash, gauges, hardware, door panels, seats, seal belts, carpet, etc. It's equipped with digital gauges, Flaming River tilt black steering column, Budnik Ice 15.5” black steering wheel, custom Lokar black shifter with leather boot and black carpeted floor mats with Maverick logo. The trunk compartment is highly restored and home to the trunk mat and matching spare wheel with tire. The painted engine compartment is highly detailed throughout. The car is powered by a new Blue Print 306 V8 create engine that produced 401HP w/ 345TQ. The engine receipts and dyno sheets are included. All of the engine details can be seen by googling part #BP3060CTCD. The engine was dressed in Maverick black valve covers and matching air cleaner which looks great. Some other upgrades include a Holley carburetor, QFT fuel rails, MSD ignition, Taylor wires, March Pulleys, braided lines and custom fittings. The engine is equipped with a Power Master high-performance starter that is powered by an original style Autolite battery. The engine is cooled by a Champion aluminum radiator with electric fan and custom aluminum coolant overfill tank. The engine breathes through polished Hooker Headers and a custom stainless exhaust system with Screamer mufflers, electric cut outs and black tips. Tons of time was invested fabricating this exhaust system. It looks and sounds awesome. The engine is coupled to a new TCI Street Rodder C4 Automatic transmission that is rated up to 475HP. It's equipped with a Hughes torque converter. The power is transferred to the pavement through the new Quick Performance 9” rear end with Eaton True-Trac limited slip and 3.50 gears. The painted undercarriage is highly detailed and mirror quality. The front suspension consists of Global West control arms and Viking adjustable coil overs. The rear suspension consists of Cal-Tracs and Viking adjustable coil overs. It's equipped with a Wilwood Pro Street braking system including four-wheel disc brakes with slotted rotors and red calipers. This car is a show quality piece that is truly one-of-a-kind. This car has recently been serviced and detailed which is documented with invoices that are included. Dare to be different! A selection from the MS CLASSI CARS Collection.
