Finished in Black Pearl, (code A1) the car's paint and trim are in
overall excellent condition, as are its glass panels, including the
rear window with its tint and grid defroster, "fried egg"
headlights and other lights. The black, powered cabriolet top (code
V9) is smooth and supple, the car's body-colored black bumpers fit
tightly to the body and look great. This example features an array

owner of this Porsche purchased this incredible Porsche Turbo in
February 2012 with only 11,170 miles on the clock. Two years later
with only 13,261 miles he took the car to Parktown Porsche here in
St. Louis. The car had developed a lower end knock. Porsche hovered
the warranty on the car and did a complete engine out rebuild
performed by Porsche technicians. We have all receipts in hand with
labor and deductible costing over $7,000. That was performed only
2,500 miles ago! We also have additional service receipts from
certified Porsche dealer totaling over $8,700 for general
maintenance on the Porsche over the past 7 years! This Porsche was
enjoyed occasionally and always garaged! At its debut, the 996
featured the most significant change from the classic 911 series: a
water-cooled engine replacing the previously air-cooled engine.
Progressively stringent emissions and noise regulations,
environmental concerns, a higher expectation for refinement and the
need for a high-performance four-valve per cylinder engine made the
switch necessary. Other major changes include a completely new
platform having a sleeker body with a more raked windshield, and a
re-designed interior along with new "fried egg" shaped headlamps
instead of previous "bug eye" headlamps. The 996 had little in
common with its predecessor, with the first all new chassis
platform since the original 911 and a new water-cooled engine.
Technically, it was a major change, a complete breakthrough from
the original car other than the overall layout. In 2004, the Turbo
Cabriolet was introduced, the first mass-produced Turbo Cabriolet
model since the 1989 964 Turbo Cabriolet. Documentation includes a
copy of the car's Certificate of Authenticity and assorted
invoices. Competition to this 911/996 cabriolet in 2004 included
Acura's NSX Targa, Aston Martin's DB9 Volant, Chevrolet's Corvette
Convertible, Ferrari's 360 Spider, Ford's Mustang SVT Cobra
Convertible, Maserati's Spyder GT and Mercedes-Benz's SL 55 AMG. As
one of the world's supercars, the Porsche 911 and its multiple
variants are highly prized by collectors around the globe. This one
is a great driver and it's just begging to take a summer cruise
with you, top down, breeze in the hair with music provided by the
car. Stop by MotoeXotica Classic Cars today to take a peek. VIN:
