We are excited to offer for sale this gorgeous example of a 3rd Generation Corvette. �The car was restored approximately 10 years ago to fine detail. This car is straight with all body panels having been carefully hung, and precisely adjusted. �Being an early Third generation, this car has that nice bit of contrast with the chrome bumpers front and rear. �The underside of the car is very clean with a rust-free frame. Also of note is that the Vacuum operated headlights work just the way they should, and the body colored T-Tops fit just right. The exterior color has been changed from its original shade of Daytona Yellow to a gorgeous Orange that looks to be very similar to the Monaco Orange originally offered in 1969. �Whether originally Yellow or Orange, the flowing lines of the 3rd Generation Corvette are unmistakable. The interior has been left trimmed the way it came from the factory - 'Saddle' vinyl (Code 420) �Slide into the driver's seat and you'll see that all the little details were looked at during restoration. �The result is a beautiful interior that still looks nearly new. Seats, door panels, gauges, dashboard, even the pouches on the passenger's side are all in superb condition. �An AM/FM/Cassette player is mounted just below the factory auxiliary gauges. A Sunpro oil pressure gauge has been discreetly added for a peace of mind that the big 454 is producing adequate readings. ����� This car left the factory with a 427ci/390hp V8, which is indicated by the cowl 427 hood and plaque at the base of the shift knob. However, the original motor became problematic so a 1972 produced 454ci V8 was installed and mated to a 4 speed manual transmission, an upgrade in displacement and horsepower. This makes an awesome combination in a legendary sports car! A few performance parts have also been added to the big block in the form of a Holley Carburetor, MSD Ignition, and Accel plug wires. The exhaust system has been upgraded to an N11 performance exhaust that flows better than the factory system, and sounds great!
