This 1970 Mercedes-Benz 300SEL 6.3 is finished in Dark Red over a
black leather interior and underwent a six-year refurbishment that
was completed in 2012. The work was carried out by the seller with
parts and assistance from a number of specialists, including Star
Motors in Endicott, New York, Fairchild Fuel Injection in
Shingletown, California, DB Depot of Germany, the late Bruce Kirner
of Florida, and others. The M100 V8 has been rebuilt to 6.5-liters
and now utilizes a set of oversize Mahle pistons, NOS camshafts
re-profiled by Crane Cams, gas-flowed heads, a modified rebuilt
fuel-injection system, and stainless exhaust. Rebuilds of the
4-speed automatic transmission, air suspension, steering, and
4-wheel vented disc brakes were also carried out during the
refurbishment, as well as a glass-out repaint in the factory color.
The seller has added approximately 11k miles since the work was
completed, and this W109 is being offered with a spares package,
factory tool kit, jack, spare tire, and a clear Florida title. This
