The late seventies Firebirds and Trans-Ams were absolutely the
hottest car on the road in their time. The second generation Trans
Am became a cultural icon after the debut of "Smokey and the
Bandit" in 1977. With muscular good looks, luxurious interiors, and
tire shredding performance, this was THE car to have. The gorgeous
sample you see here is a time machine. Showing only 21,846 actual
miles on the clock, original documentation, and having been
unmolested through out its existence, this garage kept 1977 Formula
is as close as you could get to stepping back in time and buying
one brand new. Painted in Goldenrod Yellow with those awesome
FORMULA graphics, this is a true head turner. Chrome Crager S/S
mags with BFGoodrich white letter tires complete that muscle car
look. Inside is a classy and luxurious vinyl bucket interior with
wood accents. This interior is like new, and features all the
amenities you would expect of a late 70's muscle car. Sporty bucket
seats, center console with storage, AM/FM radio, full
instrumentation, rear defogger, and the best thing of all, ice cold
air conditioning!! Under the hood is the tried and true classic 350
V-8 with single four barrel carburetor. This smooth running engine
is bolted to a GM TH350 automatic with a 8.5 inch 10 bolt rear end
with limited slip. Brakes are 11 inch front discs and 9.5 inch rear
drums. The suspension is smooth riding and sporty, with front SLA
and rear leaf springs. Dual exhaust provides that great powerful
sound.
If you're in the market for a late seventies muscle car, there is
