Vehicle Description
1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z28
Under the functioning cowl induction hood, it is powered by a
DZ302ci V-8 with 4BBL carburetor putting out all the power you can
handle through the Muncie 4-speed and poised to rip through the
gears with the correct Hurst shifter. The engine puts out a smooth
290HP and contains many of the correct restoration markings there
along with the undercarriage. If you happen to break it loose,
there will be two marks on the pavement thanks to the multi-leaf 12
bolt posi-traction rear-end doing its best to launch you forward.
The engine bay is detailed to perfection with everything correct
down to each wire including the double hump heads, snowflake intake
manifold, Z28 finned valve covers, snorkel air cleaner and horned
exhaust manifolds flowing to the dual cross flow pipes coming out
the back.
Outside the Z28 is painted in shimmering, show quality Fathom Green
even better than how it rolled off the showroom floor. All the
lines and gaps are fitted with exceptional quality as are the white
rally stripes buried deep under the clear coat. The chrome, bright
work and glass are just as they should be with no imperfections.
Stopping comes from power front disc brakes making the Cooper Cobra
tires on factory correct rally wheels grip the road. The
undercarriage is as clean as the top with everything redone or
replaced with the proper parts during restoration and painted in
black. Everything has been restored to original both inside and
out.
Inside the Midnight Green interior has also be done to factory
specifications with the speedometer, clock and tachometer in the
like-new dash and the remaining crisp, clear gauges located in the
console. That console houses that epic Hurst shifter and has also
been redone with the proper wood grain and stainless trim. The
green carpeting is also like-new as is the headliner and rear
shelf. It is equipped with its original factory AM/FM radio should
you ever tire of the symphony coming out of the exhaust.
This exceptional DZ302 in a rare color combination is being offered
at below market value for $55,900.00!
This car is being represented for a collector in the Seattle,
