Very nice BJ40 daily driver. I’m no Cruiser expert but will try to describe details. I was told by the previous owner this vehicle was originally delivered to Costa Rica and put into service on a farm in the mountains. It appears to have undergone a frame up restoration there before being imported to USA. It is currently registered in Ga and has a clean title. It is not perfect but in very good condition - I’ve tried to provide adequate pictures to give an accurate description of condition. With the exception of the ARB front bumper and aftermarket exterior mirrors it appears to be stock as delivered from factory. No heater, AC, power steering, radio, or cupholders. Has drum brakes front and rear and original 2 piece (locking ring) wheels from factory. Front and rear jump seats appear to have been refinished and seat belts added. Body, tub, fenders, and top are all straight and solid. The top does not appear to have been removed since overall repaint. As I type, it is missing passenger sun visor and windshield washer pump and tank (wipers work). The key switch buzzer is missing. There are a couple of small holes on dash between the wind deflectors. This model has single 12 volt battery. All dash gauges, interior and exterior lights work as they should; note speedo is km/h versus MPH. All body glass appears to be original. Transfer case, transmission, and clutch work as they should. As indicated from casting on side of block, engine is “B” series and starts and runs great. It does emit a bit of white smoke when first started if it has not been cranked for extended periods, but clears up quickly. It gets between 23-24 MPG on the road. I have no idea of actual mileage but speedo indicates 58,600 km now. Other than oil/filter changes I’ve done nothing to the engine. I’ve owned it for 3 years and recently replaced brake shoes and all 4 wheel cylinders on front axle. I also added front and rear floor mats and brush guards to rear tail lights.
