FORD PICKUP This 1940 Ford Pickup has undergone a complete
restoration about ten years ago with less than 2,200 miles on it
since restoration. It is finished in a beautiful two-tone dark red
and black paint job. Under the hood, you will find a basically
brand-new Chevrolet Performance 350ci Ram Jet crate V-8 engine with
also less than 2,200 miles on it. This of course also includes the
Ram Jet fuel injection system. The hood has been changed out to a
1941 Ford Pickup hood. All that power and class sit atop a full TCI
frame. The truck handles the curves of the road well with an
independent front suspension. Equipped with power steering & power
disc brakes (front & rear), this truck is a dream to drive. It also
has power windows to let that cool air into the cab with ease. The
interior, including door panels and headliner, have been re-done in
a beautiful matching leather color scheme to the paint finish on
the exterior (dark red/black). Overheating will never be an issue
with the installed Triple flow radiator that includes an electric
fan from a Maserati. Transferring power to the rebuilt 8" Mustang
rear-end w/ new axles is the rebuilt 700R-4 automatic transmission
w/ shift kit. All the wiring has completely been replaced with new
wiring. This truck has the necessary creature comforts, including
heat, A/C, digital gauges, billet instrument panel and accompanying
accents, tilt column, and a black leather wrapped billet steering
wheel. An added feature is a hidden battery shut-off button, which
doubles as a security measure. A new pickup bed, tailgate and
running boards have been installed on the truck during restoration.
