What a beautiful, original Oregon '63 Thunderbird convertible that has been very nicely restored and maintained. Originally a Rangoon red car that has been repainted years ago in it's original color, but in a base/coat, clear/coat, so it shines better than it would have originally. The Interior is all but flawless, and all accessories and options function properly.
The power convertible top functions perfectly, and folds into the trunk compartment.
This particular T-Bird has the Sports Roadster fiberglass tonneau that covers the rear seat, giving this Thunderbird a 2-seat Roadster look.
Sure, this Thunderbird looks sporty, runs great, and is one of the most comfortable '60's cars to sit in, but what sets this T-bird apart is the way it drives. This T-bird Convertible glides down the road with such ease, and removes any harshness a rough can throw at you. It's truly a classic Roadster that you can take a long road trip in, and be comfortable in hour after hour.
Highly visual and recognizable, this Thunderbird can cover a lot of ground not only in the literal sense, but in terms of a classic car that's ready for car shows, cruise-ins, short jonts here and there, or a long road trip like Route 66.
1963 was the last year for this body style of Thunderbird with it's ample use of bright work, turbine tail light trim, and overall sleek design.
When you put the top down in this Thunderbird, move the slide-away steering wheel in front of you, turn the key to ignite the big 390, you will know you're in a very special “High-end” classic car.
