This is one super nice '60 Chevy Impala Hardtop! If you've been considering a '60, you better take a hard look at this one. 82,000 original miles, original Ermine white car with it's original excellent turquoise interior, excellent starting, and running 348 with Tri-power, with finned aluminum valve covers, and air cleaners just like it would have been on day-two! This Impala drives like a dream, and they just don't come around set up like this one often enough.
This Impala is set up just right, smooth shifting rebuilt automatic transmission, power steering and brakes, and all functions and accessories on the car work!
The 17” wheels and tires are an upgrade for today's driving, but, you can always put the stock original wheels and wheel covers back on if you prefer as they are present and go with the car.
This car is very impressive to look at, but more impressive to drive, as it retains it's originality, and no one has messed with it's integrity throughout the years.
So comfortable, easy to steer, and the brakes work great. Original cars from this era are becoming more and more difficult to find, and the remarkable way they drive down the road is an experience like no other.
I should mention that all of the trim and bright work (and there's a lot of it) is present on the car and looks excellent was well. The body panels look straight and smooth and the doors, hood and trunk alignment is excellent.
These '60 Chevrolet's have all of the right styling ques to Rocket you back to the “Jet-Age! The stainless jet in the rear quarters, the dual radio antennas and, of course, those horizontal fins!.
Again, if you have a desire for a true piece of mid-century Americana, this 1960 Chevy Impala hardtop, will surely tick all of the boxes! Beautiful car!
