This is a really nice dependable pickup that I've driven weekly for the last 14 years. It's very easy to drive - my wife drives it, too. Most of the work was done professionally so you can drive to car shows and parades 2 hours away with confidence. We love this truck but now that I've retired it's time for someone else to enjoy it. Be prepared for smiles and waves as you drive around town - everybody likes this truck!
I have about $70K in it so this selling price is very fair. I don't plan to negotiate unless you have a new Rivian pickup to trade!
The body is steel with extra wide fiberglass fenders for tire clearance. It sits on a complete Fatman roller chassis with independent front suspension and sway bar, 4 link rear suspension and sway bar. There are disc brakes and QA-1 coil over shocks on all four corners. Intro Vista 5 spoke wheels with Dunlop P9000 tires - front 235/55x17, rear 285/50x18.
The engine is a pro-built Chevy 350, 330hp, 4bbl, MSD ignition, Hooker headers, Flex-a-light electric fan, March serpentine system, engine oil cooler, Billet Specialties radiator overflow tank. It's a high performance cooling system. You need that when doing a slow crawl in traffic when it's 105 degrees in Sacramento!
The transmission is a GM 700R4 with a large oil cooler, B&M floor shifter, 3.7 ratio Ford 9" posi-traction rear end.
Power rack & pinion steering and tilt wheel. Power brakes, Heater and A/C, and a complete Painless wiring system.
Mechanically and electrically the truck has about 5K miles on it. I have all the receipts and photos of the build.
