GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this immaculate 1997 Pontiac
Firebird Trans Am WS6. This stunning vehicle comes in a brilliant
black paint job complimented by a clean gray interior. Powering the
Pontiac is a torquie LT1 350ci V8 motor mated to a smooth 4L60E
automatic transmission. Features of this incredibly low mile
vehicle include 4-wheel power disc brakes, power windows, power
steering, power locks as well as working heat and A/C. Performance
modifications include a Corsa exhaust giving the Firebird some bark
for its bite. Additionally, this Trans Am is a true WS6 package
vehicle. The WS6 package from factory included 17" x 9" wheels with
275/40ZR17 tires, suspension improvements, oval dual tailpipe tips,
Ram Air hood and WS6 badging. This optional package boosted rated
horsepower from 285 to 305, and torque from 325 lbft to 335. Back
in the 90s the WS6 cars were so desirable there was a serious
shortage in the market. Jump forward to now, these vehicles have
become serious collectors items. If you're in the market for your
next muscle car with a strong fan base, look no further. Please
call or email us today for more information.
The Pontiac Firebird was first introduced in 1967 and continued
through 2002. The Trans-Am shared the platform with the Chevrolet
Camaro and they were soon instant hits with the consumer. Through
the years, the Trans-Am cars were powered by various four-cylinder,
six-cylinder and V8 engines. The fourth generation cars were built
from 1993 through the discontinuation in 2002. This generation of
the F-body continued the aerodynamic formula initiated by the
previous generation.
