Beautiful 1930 Model A Tudor. Runs great! This old girl was my dad's daily driver and has been in the family for quite a few years. This is not a museum piece but a great driver! My dad has passed on and since we're getting ready for retirement and planning a move out of state we have too many vehicles.
She was originally restored years ago and was repainted with a light gray metallic body with dark gray metallic fenders, trim and running boards, what can I say, it was probably in the 70's! She has a diamond tuck interior with original style rubber floor mats. All period original and stock running gear with the exception of a modern 6v AGM gel type battery, a protection fuse and a modern voltage regulator mounted within the original cut out.
Recent valve job was just performed including new valves, springs and adjustable lifters, a new cam and cam gears with the bottom end bearing clearances set. Fresh overhaul on an original Zenith carburetor. Like new Firestone whitewall tires on powder coated wheels. All the brakes have been thoroughly gone through. She's had her original headlights and horn rebuilt. Has a brand new trunk and rear rack. Modern rear shocks installed, modern front shock kit included but not installed yet. The two rear, tail/brake lights and cowl lights have converted to include turn signals for safety.
There are three small spots on the roof that have been repaired at some time in the past, they were covered with black cloth tape, but I removed the tape to show the condition, but I am including a brand new, in the box Cartouche replacement roof that my dad had already purchased. She also sports an original Motometer, engraved wind wings, running board plates, American parade flags with mounts and a chrome rear spare cover. Original 1930 California license plates with current registration and clear title.
19,650 miles showing on odometer but Lord only knows the actual miles! She looks really striking with the color combination and “Red Baron” red wheels and whitewalls! She has been in many parades, car shows and tours with the local Model A Ford Club and turned heads at every event!
