Vehicle Description
You can get all the workhorse features you want in a 4x4 SUV, and
still not have to give up the cool vintage appearance. Best of all,
this attention-grabbing 1978 Ford Bronco with premium Ranger XLT
trim is well-documented and will cost you less than a brand new
4x4.
You just don't see classics like this anymore. The factory-correct
Light Jade is an interesting color of distinction. And the
Wimbledon White is expertly interwoven on the side and hood while
also coordinating with the white fiberglass roof. So it's a
terrific color combo that came straight from the factory, and it's
rare. We have the Marti report that proves this full package is one
of only 158 Broncos that were optioned this way. Plus, all the
brightwork on the chrome bumpers, large trailering mirrors, and
full premium XLT Ranger side trim makes this one an instant
classic. But despite very vintage appearance, the younger age means
this truck still has a lot of practical daily use left in it. In
fact, the full trailer hitch makes this a Bronco that's ready for
all activities.
While you can take the white roof off to make this a convertible
4x4, you can instantly tell from the condition of the metallic jade
seats that this has not spent much time exposed to the elements (if
ever.) As a premium Ranger XLT trim package you get some nice wood
grain appliques on the doors, steering wheel, and dash. Plus, the
power rear window and factory front buckets with cup holder center
console are more great premium and period-correct features. And
while this has a great classic presentation, you do get nice
extras, like an upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo and R134a air
conditioning.
Powering this Bronco is Ford's trusty 351 cubic-inch V8. This
already powerful motor gets enhanced even further by inhaling
deeply through an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor. But beyond
added power, it all looks particularly stock - right down to the
factory jack still mounted in the engine bay. So it's even believed
to be the original motor. But as preserved as this looks, it'll be
hard to resist taking this one off the pavement considering it's a
4x4 with a two-speed transfer case, high ground clearance, and a
great set of Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ tires. And for the days you
just want to go to the hardware store, the three-speed automatic
transmission, power steering, and power brakes w/disc up front all
mean this Bronco can run around town with ease.
Not only do you get the Marti Report, but also the original
warranty card, owner's manual, and copy of the window sticker. This
is the cool classic Bronco that retains its bright and distinct
factory presentation. So at a price like this, you know you're
looking at a 4x4 deal that will be moving fast. Don't miss out,
