Cincy Classic Cars is very proud to offer this stunning 1974 Triumph TR6 which comes with the very sought after options of Overdrive Transmission and Hardtop. Factory Overdrive works as it should on this TR6 and really increases the driving experience especially on longer drives or highway driving, Overdrive works in gears 3 & 4. This TR6 is in fully restored condition and comes with upgrades throughout the car, see list below. This TR6 has been nicely maintained over the years with a folder full of manuals, information, and some receipts for work completed on the car since 2002. This TR6 was removed from a storage unit in 2002 after the previous owner purchased the car in a state of incomplete restoration. This TR6 features beautiful Factory Mallard paint, A Restored Tan interior, Factory Overdrive, Hardtop, and numerous upgrades throughout the car. This TR6 is finished in the beautiful and desirable color combinations of Mallard exterior over Tan interior.
Exterior
The Mallard exterior is in fully restored condition. This TR6 is a factory Mallard exterior paint car and was finished to a professional high level. The paint is in very nice condition and has an excellent gloss and is smooth to the touch. The body is very solid and the gaps and lines are terrific on this car. There is no bubbling paint anywhere on this car and no signs of corrosion or rust anywhere on this TR6. The hardtop is in excellent condition and the headliner has been restored. All seals around the hardtop and trim are newer and in excellent condition. A new Robbins soft top with correct reflective stripping was recently installed. The underside is very solid as well with no visible rust or corrosion anywhere. The dealer rustproofing is still on the underside of this car and has held up well and done its job. It can be removed and the red primer floors exposed if desired.
Both bumpers are in excellent condition with near perfect shiny chrome. The tires are like new and have nearly full tread left and sized 205/70/15 and the aftermarket wheels are like new with newer center caps and lug nuts.
All weather stripping and seals are in like new condition and have been replaced. Trunk is very solid and clean with spare tire, jack tools, and correct style new trunk carpet. All glass including the hardtop is original Triplex glass and in excellent condition.
Interior
The Tan interior of this TR6 is in terrific restored condition. The seats have been upgraded to Miata seats with newer seat covers which are in excellent overall condition with replaced seat foams and working headrest speakers.
These seats are very comfortable and soft and recline nicely and a popular well received upgrade. The carpet was replaced and in excellent condition with no major wear, stains, or holes. The newer door panels are in excellent condition and both door pulls are solid and in tact. The wood dash surround is newer and in excellent condition and is absolutely stunning and looks excellent in the car. The stereo has been upgraded to a Sony modern CD player with MP3 playback and the speakers work nicely in the Miata seat headrests. The gauges all work and are clear and crisp and all lights have been upgraded to LED's. The wipers, blower motor, blinker indicator lights, turn signals, hazards, and all other lights work. This car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever. The horn is currently not working.
Mechanical
This TR6 is in excellent mechanical condition and it runs and drives very well. Most importantly the original engine and transmission are still in this car as its matching numbers with its British Heritage Certificate. This TR6 has been treated to several performance upgrades over the years and is a true pleasure to drive. This is a factory Overdrive car and the overdrive works properly and it a great feature to have on these cars. The overdrive works in third and fourth gear.

Sony Stereo
This TR6 performs well, does not run hot, rides tight, and is a true joy to drive. This TR6 is an excellent driver which has substantial power improvement and increased handling over stock counterparts. This TR6 has been loved and very well maintained over the years and comes with a folder full of manuals, instructions and some receipts and service records. The brakes were serviced and they do not pull and stop as they should. The clutch slave cylinder was replaced and the car shifts smoothly without issue. The exhaust has been upgraded to a performance exhaust system and sounds great at idle and cruising speeds. The rear differential was replaced with an Infinity anti slip unit and has been fully rebuilt and new bushings were installed. Also, the engine is clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos. The engine bay was professionally restored and detailed about 15 years ago and well maintained since.
