The Hummer H3 really is a practical vehicle. It takes the bold look of the big H2 and converts it to a much more manageable SUV. You can easily fit in a single garage stall or parking space while still having great all-weather performance and plenty of room inside. It really is the best of both worlds.
This 2007 luxury model has only 25k miles, making it one of the lowest mileage examples on the market. It has a spotless Autocheck report as well. The Midnight Blue Metallic paint gives this H3 an elegant look that is accented nicely by the factory brightwork. Note this Hummer is all stock except for a shorter whip antenna for extra garage door clearance (the original antenna is included).
The engine is GM’s standard 3.7L LLR platform rated at 242hp. This is the improved version of the I5 Vortec design and is very reliable. It is mated to GM’s 4L60E automatic overdrive transmission. Of course there is also all-wheel drive and stability / traction control for good footing in all conditions.
The luxury leather interior has a very rich look. The front bucket seats include heat and power adjustments along with a center console, while the split rear bench has flip-down cupholders. The rear storage compartment has four tie-downs along with a side opening door that is convenient and easy to use, even with the spare tire. The sound system includes a 6-disc CD changer and satellite radio. There is also the optional sunroof which is quite large. An extra set of all-weather floor mats is included too.
There are plenty of SUV’s out there, and for good reason. They offer a lot of advantages over smaller, less capable vehicles. But so many of them have bland designs that all look the same. The Hummer is different. And this sharp example, with its low mileage and great features, is one of the nicest you’ll find.
