1939 BUICK SERIES 40 TOURING SEDAN 4 DOOR SUICIDE MODIFIED TO A
DURHAM STYLE TOWN CAR Street rod has a lot of history documented
First built in 1973/1974 as a street/show car Had feature articles
in several mags of that era have copies of them First class show
car with trophies and dash plaques Body style is very fluid and
graceful with an unbelievably beautiful front grill and accents
Suicide rear doors are very cool Rear 1/3 of the roof is landau
black vinyl - very cool Nicely built and maintained classic rod New
air shocks added to rear for added clearance when loading the rear
with friends/family It is a beautiful car with a fairly current
repaint two tone charcoal dark gray (near black) and a silver/gray
lighter color - very sharp Interior is nice plush dark burgundy not
new very nice. Wheels are super sharp - makes the car really pop
and the rubber is very nice also also went through the entire brake
system (drum) Mill is a 1966/67 Chev BB 396ci with a recent rebuild
less than 100 mi on engine New performance RV low rpm torque cam
New Edlebrock carb with elec choke Edlebrock Torker alum intake
Newly rebuilt Turbo 350 transmission New Lokar Nastalgia TH350
shifter Early original Cal-Custom finned valve covers The Diff is
Chrysler believed to be Front suspension is stock 39 Buick but is
quite beefy recently had the steering box tweaked, adjusted and
greased Exhaust is very cool lake/side pipes sounds super A
beautiful survivor early street rod with lots of life left in'er it
turns heads anywhere it shows up you'd be proud to show this rod
Not newly built car - does show age in a few places but nothing
