SC162RP - 1928 Springfield Phantom 1. On 6/30/28 the Inskip’s inventory card lists the car as a “Brewster Special” 4 passenger touring car. The Rolls Royce card also lists the car as “Brewster Experimental” I have owned this car since 2012 and put about 5,000 miles on it. It was restored sometime during the ’90s at which time all of the mechanicals were rebuilt.
In 2017 I had a new clutch put in. It has the Bog and Beck clutch as delivered from the factory.
Just recently the car had all fluids changed. (antifreeze, engine oil, transmission oil, differential oil, gasoline tank flushed and fresh fuel) valve lifters adjusted, timing checked, brakes adjusted. The Firestone tires have less than 500 miles on them and are one year old.
It has several modifications to make the car safer and easier to drive. All of them were done so that the car can easily be put back to original and parts to do so come with the car. Mods include converting the generator to constant voltage, rear turn and brake signals, pertronix ignition, accurate fuel gauge, modern air filter on engine.
the car looks good and you will be proud to show it wherever you go. It is set up for touring and runs as a proper motor car should.
We are experienced in shipping cars overseas. For the cost of fuel alone I am willing to trailer the car to the port of Savannah for overseas shipment. We have contact with an excellent agency that can handle the shipment of this car for a buyer.
Would also consider trades. English sports cars, Rolls Royce cars, pretty much anything interesting No projects please.
