This 1929 Shay Roadster is in immaculate condition with only 8514 miles. This Beauty was Built in 1979 by the Shay reproduction corporation to recreate the iconic 1929 Ford roadsters. The shay company was not a kit car company but was factory authorized in 1979 to be sold by Ford motor company dealerships, in order to celebrate the fifty year old 1929 Ford roadsters. It has always garaged kept and well maintained. The beautiful paint, upholstery, chrome and trim are all in car show quality condition. The body is of course fiberglass with the metal hood being just like the original cars the tires and spare tire are like new. We are selling this very rare car on a consignment agreement from the widow of the second owner. It is Powered with the 2.3 liter pinto 4 cylinder and 4 speed transmissions. This car is a dual gauge model. The rumble seat absolutely made these roadsters memorable cars we all have listened to stories from someone about their glory days involving the rumble seat. Many cars built in the early pioneer days of the automobile did not have storage space hence they had a trunk strapped on and this Shays trunk is like new as well.
