Vehicle Description
This incredible 1941 Willys Coupe is the kind of rod most guys only
dream of owning. Count this as your chance to take home a
show-stopper hotrod that is every bit a match for those cars you've
been drooling over in the magazines for the past 20 years. LS
power, high-impact color, and a stunning interior make this car a
total rock star.
The body was built by Jim's Hot Rods, and if you know their work,
you know this is a first-class build all the way. With impeccable
fit and finish, this fiberglass rod is more than a match for its
steel counterparts and benefits from modern engineering that give
it a highly polished feel on the road. The Corvette Atomic Orange
finish absolutely sizzles, all separated by a dagger of a Sandy
Beach side stripe that tapers down the body's natural contours.
Shaved handles, hidden hinges, that classic Willys grille, custom
mirrors, and teardrop headlights are classic design cues that are
neatly incorporated into this rod, along with those perfect circle
taillights This car looks right, sits right, and won't be mistaken
for anything else on the road. Sit back and drink it in.
The incredible interior is perhaps even more dialed-in than the
body (trust us, they're both equally spectacular), with tan
ultraleather buckets highlighted by design accents on the seats,
door panels, and even the headliner. A custom dash full of Dakota
gauges and billet controls and vents has a classic and simple
layout, and a custom center console houses the Lokar shifter for
the 4L60E 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission underneath.
There's also every creature comfort you could ask for, including
Vintage Air A/C, power windows, and a stereo system powerful enough
to make your ears bleed. That Boss AM/FM/CD/DVD head unit powers
speakers throughout the cabin, filling the car with tunes that
could only be rivaled by a nice rev from the motor. The custom
trunk enclosure has hidden compartments for the fuel tank and
battery, and is as slick-looking as the engine bay, so you'll want
to show it off every chance you get.
So many Willys rods are so over-built that they're next to
impossible to drive, but this one carries a professionally built
5.3L LS EFI small block that's both powerful and tractable. FiTech
provided a fuel injection system that helps the motor place its
huge horsepower to the ground quickly, and the entire engine bay is
finished to show standards with a combo of black-polished-orange
components. Quite frankly, there's a lot more to the motor (and the
whole car for that matter) than we have space to list here but give
us a call and we'll go down the laundry list of the build. A set of
custom long-tube headers snake through the orange tube Jim's Hot
Rod frame and dump into a Flowmaster exhaust system. The front
suspension is a Mustang II with a power rack-and-pinion, while out
back a custom 9-inch rear hangs on a racing 4-link with coilovers.
Inside, you'll find street-friendly 3.70 gears and there's a disc
brake at all four corners, making this car easy to drive with
impressive performance on the street. Polished aluminum mags
complete the look, wearing 24x5.00x15 front and 30x12.00x15 rear
tires for a classic hot rod stance.
Impressively built with a long line of A-list hardware, this is a
first-class rod that's poised to take home some seriously big
trophies. It would take somewhere around twice the asking price to
build this car from scratch, so whoever gets this beauty is really
buying at a huge discount relative to the build cost. Isn't it time
you got off the bench and into the game? Call today!
