Vehicle Description
1966 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova Super Sport Custom. This is a true 118
vin code V8 Super Sport. This car was originally born as a 190hp
283 with a 3 speed on the column and protecto plate. It's currently
modeled after a L79 (350hp 327, 4 speed Muncie, posi-trac) with
several modern upgrades. Have preserved most of the parts and
cataloged them in storage including the original engine, trans,
front end, rear springs, rear end center section and hood. All of
these parts are available for sale if you wish to put it back
totally stock. Well taken care of by its previous two owners. The
mileage is believed to be ~66,000 original miles. The car was
resprayed in its original Ermine white in the late 90's. The paint
is not perfect but respectable, a couple cracks and a few chips.
Not a trailer queen but turns every head up and down the Blvd.
Exterior rating 7 (on a scale of 1-10) 327 built to the factory L79
spec. The block and heads are original L79 but not to a Nova.
Aluminum intake with a Holley style 680 brawler 4-barrel carb.
Billet HEI MSD ignition and Doug's headers. The engine was custom
built and Dyno'ed A list of the custom build parts and dyno sheet
come with the car. Engine compartment is finished off with all
factory correct (some reproductions) L79 parts including the air
cleaner, radiator, hoses. Transmission rebuilt. It is a M21 - 4
speed, coupled with a Hayes performance clutch, pressure plate and
throw out bearing. Rear end 10 bolt but the internals are all
Auburn posi-trac with 3:73 gears. Car sounds awesome through the
Flow Master dual exhaust with super 44 mufflers. Drive train has
been rebuilt. Runs and drives perfect. Please Note The Following
